My name is Vynce Horn & I currently manage both Fiorentina & Real Madrid in Game 5 & shall be keeping you uptodate with things as they progress throughout the world of Game 5. These few pages will be dedicated to anything & everything in Game 5's Serie A & World Premier Division.Two of the most powerful & attractive leagues throughout the game, make for the fiercest of competitions amongst the biggest teams in the world. Game 5 has been established for a good three seasons now, of which we are currently about half way through the third season. There are always teams available looking for immediate management & we are seeking new managers to fill these vacant slots.

| Deportivo La Coruna star striker Robbie Fowler is
reportedly on the brink of quitting La Coruna after admitting to his best mate, former
Anfield star Steve McManaman that he is “homesick and fed up.”
SOURCE A close friend of both Fowler and McManaman alerted press hacks to the story for an undisclosed sum and stated “Its true about Robbie. He has been unhappy for some time in La Coruna….he was ok at first but things recently have seen him a bit down in the dumps. He phones Steve every night and has often phoned me too asking if there were any stories in the press about him coming home. I know for a fact that he is unhappy and that he would love a return to England, preferably before the transfer deadline date in a few weeks time." |
DECLINED Fowler declined an interview with the Reality this week stating that he “had no comments to make” on this matter and added “I don’t know where the story came from but Its all rubbish…” however his close friend stated “Robbie has to say that because if he has been courting a move to another club he will lose a lot in contract pay off. I am certain that if a club comes in with a good offer for Robbie then he will be on his way.”

NONSENSE The La Coruna chairman stated this week that the rumours were “nonsense” and stated “Its just the Barcelona papers stirring up trouble, they have nothing better to do seeing as their team is so poor than to knock other teams.” However intriguingly Fowler was allegedly given leave to miss 3 days training this week to come home and see his family and friends. However there have been sightings of the former Liverpool striker in London in talks with one Alan Sugar…. Speculation is growing that Fowler could well be on his way to Tottenham at some point. One thing looks certain, his future is uncertain !

This week saw the sensational transfer of much-travelled Italian striker Filipo Inzaghi, from Roma to Fiorentina for a mere �13 million pounds. The club from Florence had been tracking the former Juventus ace for some time, but a deal never looked on the cards, that was until new boss Jan McVey took over. OUTCAST Inzaghi has so far this season failed to make an impact, scoring only once in several starts for the Rome club. However, this had not deterred Fiorentina manager Vynce Horn, who is said to have been a long time admirer of the Italian goal ace. Manager Horn said last night at a press conference, “The capture of Inzaghi is a massive boost to me and the club. We now have someone who I think can be Batigol’s eventual replacement, should he decide to call it quits one day.” |
EXCITED Inzaghi was himself unavailable for comment last night, but a close friend of his added “Filipo had been unsettled at Roma for a while, I thought it would only be a matter of time before he moved on. When Fiorentina made an approach to sign him, he jumped at the chance, requesting permission to talk to manager Vynce Horn immediately. A deal was sorted out very quickly and already Filipo is excited about the prospect of playing alongside the likes of Batistuta.”

FIGHT It won’t be easy for Inzaghi to settle in at his new club, as recent signing Carsten Jancker is looking good in a partnership with legendary Argentinian goal machine Gabriel Batistuta, scoring quite freely at the moment it would seem. Also, the young Mpenza brothers have only just arrived and have yet to be tried, along with the likes of Morfeo and Arveladze, who’s days now seemed numbered at the Viola. START Inzaghi will get his first chance to impress next week, when Fiorentina face a trip to Serie A basement boys Atalanta. Jancker is out injured for one more match, so it should be very interesting when all strikers are fit and raring to do battle in Florence! |
